Clientele

APPAMM-ESTRIE’s mission is to provide support and information to the loved ones of those with a mental illness in the Estrie region.

The term “loved one” refers to the father, mother, spouse, sibling, or child of a person with a mental illness, a friend, or any other person interested. The person with the mental illness must be 18 years or older. The “loved ones” must also be 18 years or older.

Basically, the APPAMM-ESTRIE addresses issues relating to:

Schizophrenia

Bipolar disorder

Depression

Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Borderline personality disorder

Our mission is to provide support and information to the loved ones of those with

these mental illnesses.

Issues relating to the following must be referred to another resource in the field:

• Disorders related to child psychiatry (e.g.: ADHD)

• Tourette syndrome

• Anorexia and bulimia

• Alzheimer’s

• Intellectual disability

• Etc.
